Here's an upcoming award for the IARU contest...73, Ward N0AX

The Polish Telegraphy Club and the Polish Radio Amateur's Journal are
sponsoring the 2005 Worked HQ Stations award for working HQ stations during
the upcoming IARU HF Contest.  The basic W-HQ-S is earned for 10 QSOs with
HQ stations representing all three IARU Regions. Special endorsements are
available for each 10 additional QSOs/HRDs.  For more information,

Worked HQ Stations Award
An Award for the IARU HF Championship Contesters

1. Publisher: Polish Telegraphy Club (SP-CW-C); sponsor - The Polish Radio
Amateur's Journal  QTC.

2. Work or listen to HQ stations representing national amateur
organizations, the IARU Secretariat Station and/or the IARU officials, in
accordance with the IARU HF Championship Contest Rules on July 9-10, 2005.

3. Award applicants must send their Contest logs for competition. Checklogs
do not entitle them to apply for the Award.

4. The basic W-HQ-S may be earned for 10 QSOs/HRDs with HQ stations
representing all three IARU Regions. Special quotation will be entered on
the award for each 10 additional QSOs/HRDs.

5. Please send your application with an extract from your Contest log,
listing the HQ stations worked or heard on or before July 31, 2005, to: The

6. The Award fee is EUR 5, or USD 5, or 7 IRC's.
