I'll buy Mal a beer too.

Hey, I was out your way in March (well sorta, in Havasu City). Could only find "wife-beater" beer brands like Bud and Old Milwaukee. What's up with that?

Well the world is now coming to an end: I 100% agree with K0HB. I am a little slow(more than a little) to understand this attitude, it's O.K if it's off by a letter or two. It's OK to be off by some arbitrary time period. Do you even need to get the signal report, or the band, correct..??..
It is precisely why LOTW is, and should be, the GOLD Standard. If it's not in the log it's not in the log, period and there is no match. If I bust a call, and I do several times in every contest, then shame on me. But it's busted and I have lost QSO points because of it, even though all parties involved knows what happened.
The remarks made W6WRT & KE5CTY are so far out of line I can't believe I read them. W6WRT freely admits he sends out QSL cards even if they are just CLOSE. What counts as close, they get your mailing address correct? Talk about watering down and diminishing DXCC those 2 postings are prime examples. There should never be any exception made for busted calls, a busted call is a busted call, is a busted call, NO QSO, NO QSL credit.
Some of you will remember, before computers there were a lot of busted calls and they remained busted no matter how much begging was involved.
