The question of losing a run frequency isn't dependent on the 1R vs 2R 
question: it's the same. If you leave a frequency long enough that a 
reasonably courteous op feels no compunction about calling CQ, it's gone.

Doesn't matter, in my view, whether you're leaving it to go to the john, 
pour a cup of coffee, munch on a sandwich or snag that second-radio Q.

Protecting your run frequency is your responsibility, nobody else's 
(reasonable courtesy assumed).
