[CQ-Contest] Why did the Canadians (PT5M) beat the Americans(PW5C)in WRTC 2006?

Very interesting analysis, Jose, and fairly persuasive.

But I wonder if you can tell how much of that 40 meter period
was S&P vs Run for the two stations?  Was one spending most
of their time trying to run, or able to run longer because
of stronger signal, or did both have similar run rates, but
better S&P performance, etc?
