Mike, that's so funny I splurted coffee all over my monitor when I read it!

Carried to it's logical extreme, you couldn't even call "CQ SS" because
someone might hear you, spot you, and that assistance would send stations
to your run QRG.  Ergo, unless you only S&P, you are making a "defacto plea
for Good Samaritans" to spot your run QRG.  Calling CQ makes you assisted. 
Exclusively S&P is the ONLY way, using your logic consistently, that you
can claim "unassisted".

Can there be any simpler answer?
