I got this problem about 15 years ago, mainly due to an ergonomically disastrous mouse on an early Digital VAX workstation.

Today there is hardly any excuse.

It's almost exclusively a female problem. Note the words "rare" and "almost". There are exceptions but they are just that - exceptions. The average male ham need not worry.
