[CQ-Contest] AMECO Preamp

For years, I have heard that the Ameco nuvistor-based tunable preamp is the 
best available for a contest station. I have one that I use for Beverages, and 
I really like it a lot. But, it was designed a long time ago, and I'm wondering 
what else is out there that performs as well or better. I like the fact that 
the tunability feature provides some rejection of out-of-band signals in the 
multi-transmitter environment. It runs on 110vac, has a convenient power switch 
and a bypass switch, as well.
