Brilliant or maybe not. 

The distance concept scoring provides big advantage for those located on the side of heavily populated areas. For them each QSO is huge points, for all you suckers in a "pot" working each other, you get peanuts. You think that present CQ WW is a points server for zones 9, 33, etc? 
 
Wanna close to perfect contest and scoring system? Here it is with well thought out scoring system and some ideas to make the contesting and reporting more reflective of the today's situation.
