[CQ-Contest] [Elecraft] From the CQ-Contest Reflector

I've used both TR-Log and WriteLog with the K3 for over a month now and have
had no issues other than an occasional instance where the K3 stays in
transmit after WriteLog drops PTT. However, in NAQP RTTY Saturday, this
never happened in 10 hours of contesting. It is not yet clear what or where
the problem is, but it is being diligently worked on to understand and fix.

I'm just using a standard straight-through M-F DE9 cable available at any
computer or electronics outlet. Selecting 'K2' or one of the Kenwood rigs,
e.g., TS850, for radio type works fine. The K2/K3 command set is a superset
of the Kenwood command set. As Tree mentioned 'Clear RIT' works great
although the K3 RIT Clear LED was not being lit by this command ... until
this afternoon's firmware release. ;>)
