[CQ-Contest] energy drinks

That is the same video I posted, Robert. Funny coincidence. I am not
a medical professional, but I do read things like Quackwatch and this
guy Lustig didn't set off the usual skeptical BS alarms that the
late-night infomercial types always do . He really seemed to have his
scientific/evidenciary ducks in a row. IMO, everyone should watch this
video as it is not only eye opening with regard to the explosion in
type II diabetes, but cardiovascular disease as well. There is some
really interesting stuff on LDL cholesterol in there that hasn't
filtered down from the ivory towers of academia into the conventional
wisdom yet, but I suspect it may soon.
Contesters are an aging bunch (I feel like one of the "babies" at
44). What this guy has to say could keep us all going a few more
years.

The discussion regarding energy drinks and how they may or may not
perform
for each person make me want to tell you about my perception of
overall
health in the US, and to some extent, around the world. I have been
alive
long enough to observe the fattening of America with my own eyes. I
can only
see the effect, someone smarter can show you the cause.
IF you are interested in knowing what is going on, this video will
provide
the medical and political background of what is going on. Warning,
parts are
deep in medical terminology and explanation, but keep watching. And
yes,
it's a long presentation but it reveals the root of the change that
was made
about 40 years ago to create the epidemic we see today.
