I LOVE it when people call me and send me the exchange at QRQQ speeds. Lots of guys know I can copy insanely fast (no problem copying up to about 110 wpm) and I regularly have some guys work me at 60 + WPM during a contest.

Maybe he did, Zack, or maybe he had just worked someone really slow and had forgotten to kick his speed back up before he called CQ.

I heard one station calling CQ at about 25 wpm and I answered at
approximately the same speed. He came back to me at about 40 wpm (which is
fine - I can copy to about 50 or 55 wpm). Out of curiosity, I waited to see
if he did that for anyone else. He didn't.

Maybe he knew I could copy at that speed?
:-)
