One minor correction to my earlier call sign brain dump: 

... At that time, in most call areas only a handful of "K" 1X2 call signs had ever been issued (exceptions being the *fourth*, sixth, and maybe second call area, I think). No "N" 1X2 calls ever issued. 

Nobody has caught this, so far. Thanks for all the fun feedback. I'll aggregate all of it into another posting.
