Truly sad news.
I didn't know him personally, but regarded him as one of the best.
I remember that, in my early DX days, whenever I learned that K5VT was going
somewhere, I would be able to work him for a new one on my 10m dipole.  
R.I.P Vince, and thanks for so many fond memories,
