Fantastic workaround! Nobody thought of this before??? Another suggestion (IF 
you know how to use the split function):

1) VFO A = VFO B

2) SPLIT

3) Use that big round knob to set your transmit QSX to offset 1 to 1000 Hz.

If you are not proficient using the SPLIT function, check out the RIT/XIT functions.

If these suggestions are too complicated and you love to stroke your mouse, just 
point, click and call. Works first time every time, right?;-)
