The flip side is that it behoves callers to actually listen.

I was mis-spotted late yesterday as G4XTT and the spotter corrected it less
than a minute later with an apology. But I ended up with a bunch of dupes
over the next ten to fifteen minutes despite giving my call at least every
second QSO - there were several of the "big hitters" in there who ought to
know better. I guess the bad call comes up on their screen as a needed call
but the correction never hits their screen as it gets filtered out by their
logging software as being already worked.
