[CQ-Contest] Fixing my Sprint Log

Isn't there another option.;.. that is to change the *QSO:* to *XQSO:* 
in the submitted Cabrillo file? That keeps everything in the log 
'squared away' but relinquishes credit for that QSO.

Or was I just dreaming about this?
