Thursday night [tonight]. . . NCCC Sprint Ladder XVI - Wk 6 of 8.
NS Ladder moves into it's final phase this week, in which only the highest
five scores are counted towards awards. So a chance to cancel any undesired
low scores. An amazing 20 dedicated participants have shown up for all of
the previous 5 weeks; a perfect 8 gets you an extra entry in the selection
table for W0YK wine at the end.
At the upcoming Contest Academy at Visalia in April some notable benefits
of participating in NS and NS Ladder will be described by Tom, ND2T,
including some very specific quantitative numbers.

<http://www.ncccsprint.com/next_ns.html>Important rules:
1) Strictly observe the time limits . . see
http://www.ncccsprint.com/rules.html paragraph "Time".
2) After 2nd Q of couplet, please leave a pause for the cq'ing station to
ask for fills.
3) QSY Rule. . After a CQ, we encourage stations to QSY more than the 1KHz
minimum required by the rules so as to avoid bunching around the center
frequencies. thus a "1,2" QSY guideline, as opposed to the "1,5" rule
in the NAS.
4) Five weeks of significant participation makes you eligible for W0YK
wine drawing (KE3X, Awards Manager)
