Normal?  When you've lost the ability (or never
acquired it) to tune up and down the bands to find
new ones - all by yourself.

Normal?  When, as "SO", you use the internet in
real-time to improve your score by using spots
from other operators, and from local and remote
CW decoders.

What Randy describes may be fun, and his vision
of what's "normal".  To me, this is internet or
hybrid communications contesting.

I prefer SO amateur radio contesting, and I urge
Randy and other contest sponsors to keep this as
a separate category.
