[CQ-Contest] CQWW 1500 W output ... stop the limit :)

Hi Bob,

The confusion lies in this sentence:

En los ultimos meses, ingenieros de IESA / INEPAR, han hecho un trabajo de
estudio sobre las posibles lineas de alimentación ..

It says his engineers are studying POSSIBLE feeding transmission lines..

Therefore they are not saying they used 4.2 or 2.5 Ks but that their
calculations say that to put 1500 out the antenna they would need 4.2 or 2.5
Ks.

Now he says Atilano is member of the CQWW committee, I would guess Atilano
HAS to know that maximum output, for contest purposes, is not measured at
the antenna.

Now what does trouble me is that the next sentence he does say they used
2500 watts and 2000 on the multiplier stn and attenuation on 10 made it 700
and 1.1K on 80. If that is so they are indeed cheating.

I would think he doesn't know the rules right and he is saying things he is
not fully aware of. But I don't doubt the Atilano is fully aware of the
rules. I guess somebody has to tell Manu to rectify.
