With all the logs publicly available, and with log-checking/scoring software not that difficult to find, you'd think that folks who were really interested in alternative scoring schemes would simply reanalyze some recent runnings to see what might change under different scoring rules.

(I've been tempted to do that myself, but there are plenty of other things further up my to-do list.)
