I do because I hear them both sending confirmation. Worked for me several 
times but unfortunetely it does not happen too often. If it did, it would 
have improved my result pretty much.

Do that in WWDX if you like, I don´t:

"Call sign errors (bust) or call signs not in the other log (NIL) are
removed and receive a penalty of two times the QSO point value for that
contact."

In such a case I only send my call and work and log both in one go.
