[CQ-Contest] NAQP Rules

I understand the thoughts here, but I personally would prefer this contest be kept as "pure" as possible and let operator skill and station performance play out in the results. A classic style contest if you will. We can all seek to improve in those two areas to some degree. I like running assisted in other contests but I like the simplicity and limited op time of the Naqp also. I would not start chopping up the results into assisted, unassisted, antenna setup etc., but would support expanding the breakdown into regional/section results and awards.
There, my two cents worth...

I don't see how any except suggestion #2 has the slightest relevancy
to your complaint.

I don’t know who figured out that someone like myself who is running wire antennas (or someone with wires/tribander beam) can be compared evenly to someone with a big station with multiple monoband beams on towers just because we are both running 100 watts. That’s silly. Those big stations would still probably beat me even if I ran a KW.  And it’s not because I’m a poor operator.

It’s just a pretty stale contest because the same 3 or 4 stations win every year for a long as I can remember. Plus I would love to compete against someone who has a station more equal to mine.
