[CQ-Contest] Operate WR1TC at the Doubletree

Now is the time to reserve times to operate WR1TC at the Doubletree Hotel.  

The WRTC HQ Station, WR1TC, will be located next to the Vendor Area will be availavle to competitors and visitors.  The station will be a M2 configuration similar to that used by WRTC competitors.  WRTC vendor sponsors will donate two ICOM 7600 transceivers, 403A Triplexer with BPFs, Rig Expert interfaces, Heil headphones, and Vibroplex paddles.  Laptop computers will be loaded with Write Log software and there will be power monitoring.

Please request time periods of your choice starting Wednesday evening, July 10th (0000Z Thursday).  Two hour blocks of time will then be scheduled.  Advanced requests are limited to one 2-hour period before and one 2-hour period during the IARU contest; two-person teams are encouraged.  Note: the station may be used for 'official WRTC' calibrations and system tests on a priority basuis.  Additional operating times should be available on-site.  We are looking for 24 hour per day operations  - during the World Cup finals?

Requests should be made directly to w6nv at pacbell.net.  Operators that reply and those that have made requests earlier will receive a copy of the preliminary schedule.   The schedule will then be maintained and published on the reflector.  QRV?
