I heard a rumor that they’ve been thinking about sponsoring a third mode -
CQ WW RTTY. I wonder if those results will ever get posted?

Looking at the CQ WW online database activity trend
http://www.cqww.com/stats.htm shows a marked increase in participation in
both modes over the last 7 or 8 years. Would anyone care to speculate what
is behind the trend?

N2NC and his team of bleary eyed typists have been at it again. Two
additional years, 1967 and 1968, have been added to the CQWW online score
database.

Search the database: http://www.cqww.com/score_db.htm

View the activity trend: http://www.cqww.com/stats.htm

There are now 160,236 entries recorded for SSB and 152,658 for CW.

Thanks to everyone who has participated in the CQWW over the years and to
the typists for converting the paper results into electronic form.
