OTOH -
While the hair on the back of my neck raises up when someone starts a
QSO with "Please copy", there IS another way of looking at it: Rather
than considering the downside of the extra couple of seconds lost in the
QSO, consider that it's very likely a net gain QSO. In other words,
they're obviously not serious, and if not for wanting to play around,
they'd be doing something else, and not giving out ANY contacts.

improper CB import for "over" that just does not go away) the Q rate is
even further diminished. Why can't the response be solely limited to
what the contest requires? Sometimes I get so annoyed with this that I
answer back "My name is Herb, not Roger." The other one that is
perhaps even worse is "good luck and see you after the contest."

running a 250 hour, and every station added a "please copy" your rate
would be down by over 20 stations, it adds up.
