[CQ-Contest] Spring & NAQP

Excellent, that was a really nice comic response, so I think I should carry this forward. I hope it can promote additional comic responses to raise the enjoyment of all here! The N/A Sprint uses U.S. States and countries as multipliers. It somehow seems to me that the sponsors are coddling VE9's a little heavily by not counting Canada as a single country, the way they do with Mexico! Don't you think it would encourage more states in Mexico to be represented in the NA Sprint if each were separate multipliers? And why doesn't St. Thomas Island count as a different multiplier from St. Croix? It doesn't make sense the way these guys are doing this! Why, they're passing out special advantages as rare multipliers to Canadians and discriminating against so many others!

Once again, I truly don't give a hoot about this subject, and I don't want anyone taking these statements as my personal opinions. What I really want is for all DX contests everywhere to substitute the distance between contacts in place of the QSO points. It's unfair that a station in LU Argentina gets the same number of QSO points for a US contact as a station in 9Y.
