Thanks to a grant from the Northern California DX Foundation (NCDXF)
students and advisors from the Bloomington High School South in Bloomington,
Indiana with the club callsign of K9SOU will attend Dayton Contest
University (CTU) next week on a full scholarship. This is an exciting
opportunity which will help jump start proper Amateur Radio operating
techniques for these eager ham radio high school students. The high school
travel adventure to Dayton to attend the day long intensive study on contest
operating and station building will be recorded by Ham Nation youth
correspondent Christian Cudnik, K0STH. Christian will conduct interviews and
create several stories that will be shared with the hope that other high
school radio clubs will participate in future Contest University sessions
throughout the world. Thanks again to NCDXF.
