[CQ-Contest] DX Contest scoring schemes

But Hans…the contest is unfair to us W1s.  We need to “level the playing field” so that a W1 with stacked monobanders has a chance of winning.

 

Distance based scoring, inversely actually, would be much fairer to W1s in SS.  What say you?

Don't you DARE mess with SS!  One of the tiny handful of major contests where you actually need to be able to COPY something.  Confounds the "fie nigh foe" crowd.

 

Besides, Charly and most of the rest of the world are ineligible to play, so the jeremiads would continue.
