[CQ-Contest] Why SuperCheckPartial makes you assisted

SCP does assist, there no doubt about that. However, even in the spirit of
the rules, it does not make you "assisted" or "unlimited" depending on the
contest. Stu, you are being influenced by the word itself - assisted - and
not the rules. Call it "connected" or "enhanced" then read the actual rules
of the contest in question, then ask yourself if it violates the spirit. It
absolutely does not.

I will tell you the one that comes closer to the spirit of the actual rules
is the Panadapter. Being able to look at actual signals on the air and pick
a possible CQ frequency feels a lot more assisted than having a database
feed the possible answers to my personal typing. Especially, since, as we
all know, if you go by SCP alone, you will bust calls. Invariably, there
are always guys calling, especially on SSB, that are not in there. So its
your use of SCP that assists.

Even the discussion in some contests about the use of post contest
databases. No offense, but SCP isn't the database they are fearing. Its
looking up the call to see if its valid that they are worried about. I
don't know what the % is but likely as many as 50 - 100 calls in an SSB
contest like WPX or IARU where 2000 or more Qs are had won't be in SCP.
It's a tool, a damn good one, but a tool.

And thanks for your effort maintaining it - along with others before you.
