Sounds like a pretty serious condemnation of CERTAIN point-and-click ops. I know many still adhere to the principle of not calling until you know who it is, but it’s pretty damn lazy to start dropping in a callsign simply because RBN or Skimmer or the cluster “thinks” someone new is on a particular frequency. An operator gains nothing by QRMing a dupe.

RBN, Skimmer or the cluster don’t waive the obligation to LISTEN first! If there were ever a radio equivalent of ‘a stitch in time saves 10,’ this is it. I would argue failing to do so is unsportsmanlike.
