Greetings Diddlers!

Last week was a busy session, with new stations KC8GTX, AA9L, and KF5EVV. N8FYL also made a return visit. Pleased to see all of you printing, and don’t be bashful: any time you’ve got a free Thursday evening please drop by.

I did work a few NSers in the new SA Sprint on Saturday. I know it’s tough getting a new contest up and running so congratulations to the SA Sprint team for taking the first steps toward a new Sprint style test.

The upcoming weekend doesn’t show any RTTY activity, but if you’re into IOTA the weekend looks to be yours on cw and ssb. If you need a dose of RTTY this week, please join us Thursday evening for a bit of Sprinting..

Here’s the usual list of times, rules and extra notes for our usual Thursday soiree:

Friday, 29 July 2016, 0145Z - 0215Z (Thursday 28 July 2016 in NA)
-- 1845 - 1915 PDT
-- 2145 - 2215 EDT
-- (others in-between those two)
-- 160: 1805 and up
-- 80/40/20/15 +80kHz up from the band edge (Don’t forget to check 15!)
-- Same band dupes ok after 1 intervening Q.
-- 1 kHz QSY rule, otherwise standard Sprint rules
-- Mults per band.
-- 100W power limit.

Please visit http://www.ncccsprint.com/rttyns.html for complete rules
and links to other info. If you find any problems with the web pages, please
let me know so we can get them fixed.

Report scores to 3830scores.com (please?), and join us at 0300Z on 3610 kHz
for comments and questions (and dinner menus).
Diddle diddle,

Ken K6MR
