In the last contest i entered, I ran assisted, and it seemed not as many
stations were spotted as in years before, I soon ran out of multipliers in
N1MM and had to start searching and found many more that way, and the same
in reverse, when trying to run (1kw/tribander at 60ft) I get great reports,
but the amount of people spotting me was way down, and it seems some people
only seems to spot certain stations, you can watch people spotting and
working up the band spotting stations, and you know they will be on your
frequency soon, you work them, and they don't spot you, and move on and
spot others, very inconsistent...
Next one i'll probably run unassisted....
