[CQ-Contest] All the Assisted ops, where do they all come from?

Exactly right Hans!

And why should the opinion of anyone but the thousands who choose to operate unassisted even be considered in whether to eliminate their category of choice and why do those who operate assisted even have an opinion? What is the reason they even care? Is it because the assisted category doesn't have the recognition they believe it deserves? It is what it is.

Can you imagine all the low and high power operators saying they want to eliminate the QRP category saying they have concern that too many QRP operators are really running 15 watts and not being caught? It does not affect them and they won't call for it.

The notion of eliminating the only category remaining where someone uses his own skills to operate his station to make contacts in a radio contest and require that, in order to compete, he use the internet and assistance from others to tell him where everyone is located is TOTALLY absurd.
