IMHO, with the exception of those living in antenna restricted communities,
or having other restrictions, I must disagree. As with most everything done
in a competitive environment, if it doesn't provide an advantage, why
bother? Whom, among us, doesn't believe that there is a geographical
advantage to live on/near the East coast, in DX contests?

I live on the East Coast. I live in a restricted condo. I sometimes operate
VY1AAA remote, as I did in 2016 CQWW CW, with over 1300Qs. I was not
competitive and gave up my East Coast "advantage" to put on a rare mult in
a mildly inaccessible location. So according to this philoophy, there is no
point in doing this and I trying to deceive people? Next time you need NT
in SS and call us, should we just ignore you because you believe it is not
fair?
