I said "stop",  and Stan's gratuitous assumption about SSB is unwarranted
and plain wrong.

All competitive activities place self-imposed restrictions on technology
when that technology is disproportionate in its effect or when its
adoption would change the nature of the activity  - to the extent that
the original name of the activity no longer adequately describes the
activity.

In my previous post I gave a YouTube link to fully-automated FT8 operation.
Stan, and others, may call it what they like - but I know what's its not.
It's not ham radio.

What, precisely, is so special about ham radio that the normal rules
no longer apply?  Let's hear it from Stan.

As for "Get on board or be left behind", tell that to the sailboat racers.
Don't they know mechanical propulsion engines have been around for
200 years?
