[CQ-Contest] Is list moderation really necessary?

I took Doug's comment to mean posts from the ne'er-do-wells' get rich 
quick schemes, rather than an on-topic post that may be nasty. It is an 
interesting point, though, Dave.  I wonder how many spammers' posts 
never make it to the list thanks to the moderators.
