Sorry - just to be clear, the Talkgroup is 31021. I expect it will show up
on TG lists soon. Please be sure to enter 31021 if you enter it manually. My
apologies for fat fingers on the previous email

Subject: [CQ-Contest] DMR Chatgroup and Weekly Net/Roundtable

Fellow Contesters,

A few of us (KL0R, KL7SB, me, and a few of our cronies) have set up a DMR
Talkgroup (30121 on Brandmeister) to discuss all aspects of contesting and
to provide a forum for assisting newcomers to radiosport. I realize that DMR
is not everyone's cup of tea, but we view it as a useful tool to share
thoughts and provide assistance, much like this contest reflector does.

If you are interested, please join us on TG31021 any time. We're also
setting up a weekly net/roundtable to chat about upcoming contests, brag or
commiserate about past operations, and hopefully encourage aspiring
contesters to join us. There are many new hams that are on DMR, and we're
hoping that not only will the Talkgroup give us a forum to stay in touch
with each other, but it will draw some new blood into radiosport. We're not
naively assuming that thousands will be beating down our doors, but even if
we can encourage a handful of new hams to give contesting a go, we have
accomplished something good.

Feel free to contact me directly ( [mycall]@arrl.net ) if you have questions
or need help accessing the group on DMR.

73,

Eric NC6K
