[CQ-Contest] Alternative for team viewer audio

I used to use team viewer to connect to my hamshack on, and then use the audio from the radio codec thru teamviewer to get back to my local laptop.....apparently teamviewer changed something in a recent release, and the local pc no longer has the right to unmute the mic on the remote pc....so I can control the radio, but can’t hear anything....anyone else run into this and find a workaround?
