[CQ-Contest] Workiing Split in Contests

There are special cases when split can be very efficient. Working in
CQWW CW from 8Q7DV we often used to TX on 1809 kHz listening up 1-2.
That was possible due to different freq allocation for different
regions. 80м band had also been pretty rewording when operating split
with TX frequency in the upper portion of the band away from densely
populated 3500 -3550 kHz. There usually were no big problems on 40m
where signals are a lot louder and clever people call slightly off our
TX frequency.

If he is loud enough, he will get spotted, start working stations that come to the freq and you will start hearing stations calling him, but think they are calling you!
> This is what pretty much seems to happen just about any time a DXpedition goes split during a major contest where the bands are crowded. Might work in QSO parties for mobiles - when mobiles hit new counties, the pileups are short but awesome!
> VY0ERC did a great job of working the pileup at his speed and most of the NT stations over the years have evolved strategies for just QSYing when the pileup gets out of control.
> The worst part of those pileups are the stations calling who couldn't hear the target on a clear frequency. Is there a way a station could enter a "Block All Spots of Me" to the skimmer network?
