Hi Jeff,

Awesome news on the VP9I operation. Looking forwarded to it, of interest new 2X4(s) are no more. All new Australian amateurs regardless of grade are now a 2X3 callsign and the 2X4 calls are being phased out. We have three classes Advanced Standard and Foundation.

That's a great thing - will be fun to watch indeed!

When the 2x4 calls came out that threw me for a loop. I think 2x1's will be much easier :)

VK has finally allocated contest calls in the format VK#A and also VJ and VL Prefixes.

A few stations will be on in the CQWW SSB in a new guise - VK4KW for example should be signing VJ4K

It has been the result of over ten years of negotiation by the VK Contest Club (VKCC) and others.
