If this is on HF, turns must be wound through a #31 core to form a choke 
that's effective on HF.

There are many conditions that can put RF in the shack. For example, 
antennas very close to the shack, end-fed antennas without a choke at 
the feedpoint, end-fed antennas without a counterpoise.
