Hi Dennis

Based on the announcement from earlier this year, In May 2022, the Radio Amateurs of Canada (RAC) announced that the number of Sections will increase by 1 from Jan 01st 2023. The Maritime (MAR) section is abolished, to be replaced by 2 single-province sections: New Brunswick (NB) and Nova Scotia (NS).

This is also reported at: https://maritimeamateur.ca/news-information

There is no impact to either the RAC Canada Winter contest or Canada Day contest as they do not use these RAC (RAC Field Organization) sections as their multipliers

RAC Canada Day contest manager
