Joe,
I have a sit/stand desk which comes in handy. It's nice to be able to
hit a memory on the pad and have the desk rise. I normally take
advantage of it when things are slow on the bands.
If you go this route, be sure to have enough slack in your cables for
the different heights in the desk.
There's a picture of my current desk on my qrz page. Note the little
black key pad on the bottom of the desk on the left. It has up and down
controls as well as a couple memories which I use for pre-programmed
heights.
One of these days I plan on replacing the current desk with an L desk so
I have more room for equipment and monitors.
