[CQ-Contest] Online scoreboard

This is a sort of "freedom of religion" issue with me. I'm currently my way around the sun for the 85th time, and I tend to push back if "compelled" to do something which doesn't benefit me. I march to my own drummer.
I don't perceive any benefit to me to participate in online scoreboards, and it eats up some of my "data allowance" with my ISP.
Mostly, with the exception of a couple of domestic contests, I'm not likely to make any "top 10" list, so my participation in any contest is solely for the "thrill of working a lot of guys on CW during the weekend". The only reason I'll turn in a log for most contests is to help Minnesota Wireless Assn in those tests with "Club Competition". N0HJZ will nag me if I don't.
So if my log won't be accepted without participation in online scoreboards, then I won't send it in.
Meanwhile I will enjoy the time on the air just as much as I have for 60 years. The guys who work me will not be any the wiser, and their score will not be affected.
CU all on CQWW CW in a couple of days.

I can't wait for sponsors to start compelling its use.
