[CQ-Contest] NCJ Mag - only with a full ARRL Membership?

Do I understand this email I just rec'd that to read NCJ moving forward it
will only be online (no problem) but that I'll need a full ARRL membership
to do so? ($59 USD I believe) (roughly $82CDN at today's rate+other smaller
hidden fees)

 

How many NCJ (and other magazine subscribers) will opt to choose a full ARRL
Membership?

 

Seems like maybe something could've been offered to DX (anyone not in the
USA) for individuals wanting only an online subscription of NCJ vs. losing
them altogether.
