Amateur radio DXing has become like our teaching institutions - nobody fails, everybody passes. You do what you do to first and foremost make money.

You measure the quality of an experience through your eyes. What is
gained by you building stations, risking your life, etc.? In the end, it's
the QSOs -- great for the people you work -- and for you, the satisfaction
of a goal achieved and great memories. Why do you care how others
achieve their goals? It does not diminish your accomplishment.
Many get all bollixed up over technology. This has happened throughout
the life of our hobby. It's human nature, I guess. Why not allow our
hobby to evolve, and for each person to enjoy whatever aspect of the hobby
that suites them?
For me, I'll enjoy working you from Zone 2, or whatever your next operation
is. I can appreciate the effort you put into these operations.
I'll keep doing my remote work, and be happy and proud of the results.
73,
Gerry W1VE
