It's interesting that the DVP works fine in a DOS window using NA but not
with CT. I think NA actually works better overall under Windows 95 than as
a dedicated DOS task!
CT is just the opposite.

Subject: [ct-user] CT and Win98
Windows 98 Beta 3, latest version of CT
I needed to do some logging for the ARI contest last weekend but also
wanted
to do some other computer work in between QSOs. I decided to launch CT in
a
DOS window and see what happens.
Wow, I was pleasantly surprised. Windows 98 seems to handle CT a little
better than its predecessors. I was able to view CT in both normal and
-vga
modes. Everything seemed to work without any bumps.
CW - The CW sending was perfect (using LPT1). EXCEPT: You had to keep the
window focus on the dos window containing CT. If I switched away, the CW
sending would stop (key up or key down depending on what state it was in
when I switched). Not a problem for casual contesting that I was doing.
DVP - I didn't spend much time on this, but I wasn't able to get the DVP to
function in the dos window.
