[ct-user] help

I need help . Just recently purchased ct , trying to connect my computer to 
my Kenwood  TS 450.   DO I need some type of interface ? I also have a Kam 
Plus Tnc and would like to use this to utilize the packet cluster. Since I'm 
not your basic computer genius I would appreciate  some info.. TANX
