You are correct on that account.  CQ requests a different file extension 
than ARRL.  CQ wants "txt", ARRL *wants* "log".  I agree that it probably 
doesn't matter.  However, I can't find anything on the ARRL web site that 
would indicate ARRL wants anything but "log".
