[ct-user] mp/grab/freq problem

I don't get it.  This worked thousands of times last year.

FT1000MP and CT VERSION 9.52/9.57/9.67

I go to grab a spot.
use ctrl ->, arrow up to call and hit enter
The call is put in the call field but freq is not changed on rig.

It appears to try and change but bounces back to last used freq.

Occasionally it will work.

Typing in the frequency in the qso line only works if you try it a
couple times.

The rx freq faithfully follows the xmitr as noted in alt-J window.

COMTSR has not changed.

There has been no problem with LOG-eqf grabbing spots.

It almost appears as if some of the transmitted packet to the rig is
garbled.

Going to try another COM port.

Any suggestions?
